The Hidden Truth - Our Real Battle

The Hidden Truth — Our Real Battle Intro: There are moments in our walk with God when He pulls back the curtain just a little more, letting us see what has always been true but rarely understood. This reflection comes from one of those moments — a deeper look into the unseen battle Scripture tells us we are already part of, whether we recognize it or not. I recently wrote a post on Ephesians 6:10–20 about how our fight is not against other people, but against Satan and the demons. Since then, I’ve had many questions, and I’ve begun studying this more deeply. What I’m seeing already explains why we rarely hear sermons on this subject. It’s not because Scripture is silent. It’s because Satan does not want us to know the truth . If humanity understood what is really happening — and if we received the help God freely offers — Satan’s influence would collapse. Two Kingdoms, Two Ways of Working There is a vast difference between how Satan operates and how Father God oper...

Seeing the Real Enemy

Sometimes the Lord gives us clarity in the simplest moments — even while mowing the grass. What was once familiar suddenly becomes illuminated, and we see the truth more clearly than before. This reflection is one of those moments: a reminder that our battle is not against people, but against the unseen forces that influence them. A Moment of Clarity I was out mowing my grass this evening, thinking about some of the things I recently posted to the blog. You’ve probably experienced this too — a moment when it feels like a light switches on, and suddenly something becomes clearer than it ever was before. But I now believe we are looking at it the wrong way. It is not the person himself who is evil — it is the evil working within him , influencing, deceiving, and driving him...

The Book of the Wars of the Lord

Something very strange happened this morning that I can only say was directed by the Lord. I was searching in the small concordance in the back of my New American Standard Bible for a scripture that says our war is not with flesh and blood but with something more. I could not find what I was looking for, but my eyes fell upon these words: “WARS OF THE LORD, BOOK OF.” This directed me to Numbers 21:14 . I began searching more about what this book could be and found that this place in the Old Testament is the only reference to the existence of a book called “The Book of the Wars of the Lord.” This book has been lost; archaeology has not yet uncovered it. Led to a Lost Book As I looked around on the internet about this book, I read a comment on one of the websites. The commenter said that the book was on Amazon. I thought, “How can a book that has been lost for centuries now show up on Amazon?” I was skeptical, but I fired up my Kindle and searched for the b...
