God All in All : The Spirits Too This reflection pressed heavily on my heart early this morning. It came suddenly, connecting pieces from several older posts I’ve written over the years. I wanted to capture it while the thoughts were still fresh, because they form a picture of God’s final restoration that I had not seen quite this clearly before. The Unseen Kingdom and the Battle for the Soul Yeshua reveals the unseen Kingdom of God and teaches us how to remain filled with His life so darkness cannot return. The Seen Revealing the Unseen Yeshua (Jesus) is always teaching us about the Kingdom of God — that realm invisible to our human eyes. When He came in a form we could see, He confirmed what the prophets had spoken and gave us a visible glimpse into the unseen Kingdom. Today, Yeshua teaches us again through the unseen — through the Holy Spirit — as long as we have invited Him in. Yeshua revealing God’s Kingdom to us is eternal life ( John 17:3 ). Receiving Yeshua Within Taking Yeshua into yourself can be difficult to understand. He explains it in many ways because this is the only way we can learn about what we cannot see. One picture He gives is at the Last Supper, when He broke the bread and said, “Take and eat; this is my body” ( Matthew 26:26 ). He was not speaking of literal flesh, nor that th...

We are part of God’s body, and Yeshua (Jesus) is the Head. When His body is healthy, every part listens to Him and works in harmony. But when we stop listening, the body becomes sick. This is how I’ve come to understand sin. Picture a human body. Each one of us is a part of that body, receiving our directives from the Head — Yeshua. In a healthy body, every part responds to the signals it receives. But when a cell stops listening and begins doing its own thing, the body becomes sick. That sickness is cancer. And spiritually, that sickness is sin. Romans 12:4–5 “For just as each of us has one body with many members… so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Sin behaves the same way: self‑directed, self‑sufficient, ignoring the signals of the Head. Great Joy for All People: Why Eternal Hell Cannot Be True The angel announced “good news that will cause great joy for all the people.” If hell is everlasting torment for multitudes, then this promise cannot truly be good news for all. In this post, we look at Scripture and the character of our loving Father God to ask a hard but necessary question: Can eternal torment really be His final plan? The angel’s promise of great joy Luke 2:10 (NIV) “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.” If the traditional view of hell is correct—that countless souls suffer forever—then this announcement is not “great joy for all the people,” but joy for a few and horror for the rest. The gospel, by definition, must be truly good news for all, or we have misunderstood it.
