Communities for peace.

Building a Peaceful, Self‑Sufficient World Reflecting on community, compassion, and the ways we can live more peacefully under Yeshua’s guidance. I’ve been thinking deeply about the homeless, the poor, and those living on the edge of survival. Many people prosper for a time, only to be devastated by disasters — wars, fires, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, and cyclones. In a moment, everything can change. Consider an ant colony or a beehive. Every member plays a part, and the whole thrives because each one contributes. Humanity could learn much from that kind of unity. Our basic needs are simple: food, clean water, and shelter from the elements. Yet we’ve built systems that make even these essentials difficult to secure. What if we shifted our focus from money to Yeshua (Jesus)? The Quakers teach that there is God within each of us — we need only listen and act upon His guidance. When Yeshua is the Head and we see ourselves a...

One Last Chance for Peace in The World

I saw this article in ' The Washington Post ' " More than 11,000 scientists from around the world declare a 'Climate Emergancy '" I believe that this is God giving us one more chance for peace; maybe just this last time. If all the countries of the world declared peace with each other and work together to try and solve this emergency then maybe God will forgive us and not destroy us. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3  saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” ...

Salvation From The Wrath of God

In our recent Sunday school class we talked about salvation is by faith and not by works. If you have frequented protestant churches, you will hear this or be made aware of the fact that you can not do anything, you can not work for your salvation from the wrath of God. Salvation is a free gift.  I think many churches give the impression that faith in Jesus is all that is needed to be saved. Some will add that it’s also believing that He paid for, that He made atonement for our sins and that is what gives us salvation. I do agree with the teaching that salvation comes by faith and not by works but I think that there is something else that is needed along with the faith. I believe that we also must repent. Think about this. I could say that yes I believe that Jesus died for my sins and just leave it at that thinking that this is enough for my salvation. But unless I am truthfully and fully aware of that person that I am and that awareness leads to repentance, how will I ever...
