When “God Is One” Leads People to Seek Him More Deeply

The topic of religious conversion is complex and deeply personal. People don’t change their faith lightly. They do it because something in their life—a spiritual experience, a moment of truth, a deep longing, or an encounter with love—shakes them awake.

Whatever the reason, every person’s journey deserves respect. Faith is not a formula; it is a path walked with fear, hope, questions, and courage.

Khalid’s Story — Pakistan

Khalid Mansoor Soomro grew up a devout Muslim and memorized the Qur’an by age seven. He often debated his Christian classmates, confident in his beliefs. One day he proposed a test: each would burn the other’s holy book.

But when he tried to burn the Bible, something unexpected happened. The book struck his chest, he fell to the ground, and smoke surrounded him. In that moment he saw a man wrapped in light who said:

“You are my son. From now on you will preach the gospel in your nation.”

That encounter changed everything. Khalid embraced Christianity, even though his family struggled to believe what he had experienced.

Nikta’s Story — Iran to the United States

Nikta grew up in a strict Muslim home in Tehran. Even after moving to the United States, she wrestled with questions of love, acceptance, and identity.

During a painful season of life, she had a vision while visiting family in Iran. She saw Jesus—long dark hair, blue robe—standing in an old wooden church. He spoke only two words:

“Follow Me.”

That moment opened her heart to Christ, despite the opposition she knew she would face.

A Question for My Muslim Friends

This part is written with respect, not accusation.

Many Muslims I’ve spoken with inherited their faith from family or culture. That is true for Christians as well. But I want to ask a sincere question:

If you step back and look at your faith as a whole, what is it built on? Is it built on love—or on control?

In many communities, men carry the responsibility of earning rewards in the next life. Women are expected to obey so they can be considered righteous spouses. These expectations shape daily life, marriage, and identity.

But here is something worth considering:

Have you ever seen heaven? Has anyone you trust seen it?

Yeshua (Jesus) came from heaven—from the kingdom of the One God, Allah, Father God. He came with a purpose: to save us from our sins and to reveal what God’s kingdom is truly like.

He taught that we enter that kingdom not through performance, but through repentance and forgiveness—a gift He Himself provided.

A Testimony That Moved Me

I hesitated to share this, but yesterday I watched a testimony from the wife of a Muslim Imam. She died in an accident, met Yeshua, and He told her everything about her life—and how deeply she is loved.

She returned to life, transformed. Her story reminded me again that God is reaching people in ways we cannot explain.

“God Is One” — But What Does That Mean?

Muslims and Christians both say, “God is One.” But the meaning is often misunderstood.

Yeshua taught that in God’s kingdom:

  • there is no male or female,
  • no marriage,
  • no hierarchy of worth,
  • no domination of one person over another.

This challenges many earthly systems—including religious ones.

If your faith is built on roles, rules, and control, then the kingdom Yeshua described may feel unfamiliar. But if your heart longs for love, freedom, forgiveness, and relationship with God, then His words may resonate more deeply than you expect.

An Invitation, Not an Argument

Getting to know Father God, His Son Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit opens a world beyond compare—a kingdom built on love, truth, and transformation.

If you are Muslim and reading this, I’m not asking you to abandon your heritage or disrespect your family. I’m simply inviting you to consider this:

If God is truly One… then wouldn’t He reveal Himself in the way that brings the most love, the most truth, and the most freedom?

Your journey is your own. But the door to His kingdom is open.

Father God, open our eyes to Your truth and soften our hearts to Your voice. Let every seeker find the love, forgiveness, and freedom that come through Your Son, Yeshua. Lead each of us into the light of Your kingdom. Amen.
