Everything In the Universe Is Vibrating

Vibrations of the Spirit Header

Lately I’ve been thinking about how everything in creation seems to vibrate with its own frequency — including us. The more I pay attention to it, the more I notice how our thoughts, emotions, and even the atmosphere around people can shift the “tone” of a moment. It made me want to explore this idea a little deeper.

Think about it — everything is vibrating. You and I are vibrating, outputting frequencies. Even our thoughts, emotions, and feelings vibrate. We can’t hear every frequency, but they’re still there. Somehow, we can pick up the frequencies of others, almost as if we have internal receivers.

Have you ever been in a group where everything feels good, conversations are flowing, and then someone walks in and the whole atmosphere shifts? It’s like the “frequency” of the room changes.

God created the universe and everything in it. Everything vibrates. It makes sense to me that God would set creation in harmony with itself. Think about music: when everything is in harmony, it sounds beautiful; when there’s dissonance, it feels wrong. I think the same is true for us — when we humans are not vibrating in harmony with the universe and with each other, trouble follows.

So how do we reset ourselves? How do we return to harmony and peace with one another? One way is through music.

I’ve been studying Solfeggio frequencies, especially the 528 Hz tone. It’s known as the Love Frequency, the Miracle Tone, and the frequency of Transformation. Research suggests that 528 Hz has many benefits. When instruments tune A4 to 444 Hz, the note C5 becomes 528 Hz — the only tuning standard that produces that exact frequency.

I have a homemade dulcimer I built from a pie box. I’ve been teaching myself to play it, and only recently learned about tuning standards. I use an app called Universal Tuner to tune it, and I’ve been experimenting with different tunings to see if I can hear or feel a difference. Tuning to 444 Hz seems to give a richer sound.

I’ve also noticed something interesting: when tuning to 444 Hz, it seems easier to get each string to the correct frequency — less tightening and loosening. After tuning a string, I fret up the scale, and tuning to 444 Hz seems to make each note more accurate. When I tune to other standards, the fretted notes tend to be slightly sharp. If what I’m noticing is correct, it suggests that 444 Hz may be more aligned — more “in harmony” — with the natural order of things.

2/28/2023 — Some Things to Think About

Love is at the center of who God is. And there is a little bit of God in each one of us. Love is said to vibrate at 528 Hz. When something vibrating at a certain frequency is placed near something else capable of vibrating at that frequency, the second object begins to vibrate with it — and the amplitudes combine.

If we listen to music tuned to 528 Hz (A4 = 444 Hz), it may help increase our own “love frequency.” Just a thought.

Now consider how many frequencies we’re surrounded by: cell towers, phones, microwaves, wireless signals for doors, lights, and countless other devices. With all that noise, it’s no wonder we sometimes struggle to love God and love others.

Do you know what love is? Can you put it into words? Do you know how to get yourself into that state of love — to truly love?

These are just some of my thoughts.
